For the very first time since its introduction in 1989, the Air Jordan 4 ‘Bred’ is back with a brand-new look and feel to celebrate the silhouette’s 35th anniversary, updating the legendary sneaker with premium materials and OG detailing. Arriving as part of Jordan Brand’s innovative ‘Reimagined’ series, this iteration of the Air Jordan IV ‘Bred’ has swapped out its original construction for premium leather throughout the upper that is built to age like a fine wine, while classic elements such as the netting across the forefoot and, most notably, ‘Nike Air’ branding on the heels return to provide that true ’89 feel.

To highlight the Air Jordan 4 ‘Bred Reimagined’ we caught up with one of the most innovative producers and all-round creatives in the UK Grime scene right now, KwolleM. Having worked with artists such as AJ Tracey, Unknown T, Joe James, Devlin and more on projects like C2C and, more recently, Melo, KwolleM has taken everything that we know and love about Grime and brought a whole new energy and vibe to it, by effortlessly combining smooth samples with punchy drum patterns to introduce an entirely new sound, Mellow Grime. Like the AJ4 ‘Bred Reimagined,’ KwolleM has managed to put his very own twist on something that has remained iconic for years while maintaining its original elements and signature feel.
