SNS at House of Jumpman Milan

We headed over to Milan at the House of Jumpman to kick off fashion week for the launch of Jumpman’s first Women’s collection. Designed for the fearless woman inspired by Basketball, from the court to the workshop table, merging the likes of sport and fashion together. Participants were tasked with creating upcycled pieces from discarded materials such as chains, basketball nets and rubber from basketballs. The workshop was hosted by Attico’s Gilda Ambrosio and Giorgia Tordini, Milan based designers. The day was full of creative consciousness and positivity, and the evening brought live performances from musicians to dancers. I managed to have a quick word with Michelle Walters, the designer of the collection. We spoke about what impact this will have on the fashion and sporting world. She explained to me the ethos behind the pieces stating “that it had to be undeniably Jordan”. I can truly say I was inspired by being surrounded by such forward thinking women.
